Stronghold is a realm built and owned by Prodigy9. It is located south of Spawn City, a short distance from Old Frogtown. Stronghold includes a large stretch of the Frogroad connecting these two cities, and also has its own subway station, making it easily accessible both by foot and by minecart.

==History==
Established late in the summer of 2011, the first realm to be named Stronghold was Prodigy9's first home on MineRealm; this original Stronghold included both Prodigy9's hilltop home and a number of towers, including one with a signal fire on top. This area was later abandoned and has since been destroyed by the public realm wipe.

After the original building was abandoned, Stronghold was moved several hundred meters south of the original location. Today, Stronghold occupies 60,000 square meters of land, making it the 40th largest realm in the world. Originally including only the area around the main tower, Stronghold has since expanded, and this expansion has been accompanied by terraforming of the surrounding desert.

==Landmarks==
The largest landmark in Stronghold is Prodigy9's tower (X 75, Z 1575). However, this tower is generally kept locked, and is not accessible to the public.

Publicly accessible landmarks include a smaller tower which serves as an observation post for a nearby arena (X 25, Z 1425), the Stronghold subway station (X 25, Z 1625), and the nether tower (X 125, Z 1725) which Stronghold acquired after it was abandoned by ToxicWalrus. A portion of the Frogroad (X 0, Z 900 to 1900) runs adjacent to Stronghold, with the entrance to Old Frogtown (X 0, Z 1900) accessible from this road; though these structures are not properly part of Stronghold, the owner of Stronghold acts as steward of these areas, attempting to keep them functional, well-lit, and free from griefing.
