Apocalypse Server was a server that started August 8th, 2011<ref>http://www.minerealm.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2504</ref>. The server, commonly known as Apoc, was a server where during the day the world sets ablaze and at night a larger amount of mobs. Your mission was to quickly gather important supplies and take to the underground. During the day the fire would slowly burn through the ground and burned and destroyed any blocks above the surface. Lava spured from the ground like mini volcanoes, fire that spreaded on the ground as if everything is flammable.

During the day, everything that wasnt under any kind of shade would be let on fire, and the fire would stay around until night time, or until water was put onto the block. The fire would eventually burn through the ground, destorying blocks above the surface. Lava would also come out of the ground like mini-volcanoes. The players mission was to quickly gather important supplies and take to the underground. Players eventually made an indoor tree farm to help new players get ready for whatever they would do next.
== Death ==
The server did not last very long, only 2 weeks, and eventually was shut down by Intelli due of the low amount of players. It was officially shut down on August 22nd, 2011<ref>http://www.minerealm.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2504</ref>.

Minerealm's survival server is the first of the three [http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Smp#Survival_Multiplayer_.28SMP.29 SMP] servers which Minerealm obtained.
This is a legit SMP server, which hosts a mod which allows players to create "[[Realms|realms]]", which are the cities of Minerealm. This server can hold up to 150 players at a time.

== [[Survival 1.0]] ==
MineRealm 1.0 was the first Survival server, after health and mobs could be enabled on SMP. Prior to this, minerealm hosted a creative server.<br/>
1.0 was a completely vanilla system with no realm plugin/system in place. However, it was ran on a hey0's server which allowed Intelli to set Mods and Admins. The spawn point was moved several times during this era and the map changed once.

== Survival 2.0 ==
MineRealm 2.0 was the first installment of Intelli's custom server plugin. The system allowed players to create a 30x30 realm that was essentially theirs. They could add other members and leaders to the realm. Each player could only have one realm, and only be a member of one realm. Realms were also free in this version, and realms would expand dynamically as blocks were added to the realm.

== Survival 3.0 ==
MineRealm 3.0 is the system as we know it today. Players earn credits for breaking and placing blocks, and can purchase a realm for 10,000 credits. Players can lead any amount of realms, and be a member of any realms they wish. Within a realm, non-members cannot do anything. Opening chests is even deactivated for them. Each realm is 50x50.

==Survival 4.0==
Minerealm is currently in 4.3 and some of the major changes are: parties are now guilds, a new spawn, and new chat format
